OCTOBER 8, 1970 TERRACE BAY NEWS PAGE 9 WILLS-LAWRENCE VOWS EXCHANGED IN COMMUNITY CHURCH Pink and white carnations graced the Chancel on September 5th, at 3 p.m., when Lynda Mae Lawrence and Derek John Wills exchenged their wedding vows. Rev. E.C. Prinselaar officiated with Mrs. M. Simmer at the organ. Lynde is the daughter of Mrs. J. lawrence and Derek is the son of Mr, and Mrs. R, Vills, Escorted down the aisle by Mr. K. Wills, the bride was given in marriage by her mother. The bride's gown was a formal white French crepe, featuring two lece panels down the front, matching lace on the lily pointed sleeves, Mandarin cellar of lace, with French crepe train failing softly.from the shoulders, with lace forming a scalloped border. She wore a cluster of organza flowers with seed pearl trim in her hair, and a three tiered shoulder length veil. The bride's bouquet was pink Sweetheart Roses with Lily of the Valley and pink streamers decorated with Lily of the Valley. Mrs. Jeen Fisher, the bride's sister was Matron of Honour and Mrs. Joanne Moore as bridesmaid, were gowned alike in peau de soie, with Empire waist line and Jewel neckline and matching chiffon sleeves. Mrs. Fisher's gown was in brilliant blue, and Mrs, loore was in sunshine yellow. Fach wore a matching peau de soie bow in their hair. They carried white mums, with long white streamers. Cherlene Yates, younger niece of the bride, as "lower Girl, wore a floor length Tangerine A line peau de sole gown with metching bow in her hair, and carried mums with green otnaamars. Michael Moore was the best man and ushers were Wallace Fisher Jr. and Steve Nickoluk. Jr. For a reception in the Pesonic Hall, Vrs. lawrence chose a three piece hlue Double Knit Suit with white accessories, and pink carnation corsage. Mrs. Wills wore a three piece Green Double Knit Suit with white trim, brown accessories and 8 lafge bronze carnation corsage. The Toast to the Bride was given by her uncle, Jack Yates and the gues? hook was circulated by her niece, Caroline Yates. Servitors were mesdames Pam Jones, Merion Burns, Mary ( .are "ennedv, Dorothy 3elleniine, Addie Damiey and Paige Legace. For a trip to the west coast, Lynda donned a pink Crimpknit three piece suit, white accessories and a corsage of white carnations. Prior to her wedding, Lynda was honoured at a shower held at the Commmity Church. Hostess lrs. Isabel Deloronde, and by the girls of Kimberly Clark Staff at a parity. Out of town guests included the groom's sister, Mrs. Jenet Jeanneret, Port Credit; her two sons Mark and Chris; Mrs. Jemmelta Wills, Mr. and Mrs. T. Dinford and daughter Maureen: Terry Ssunders, Diane Pearson, Mr. and Mrs. D. Koika, Mrs. C. Burntull, Irs. S. Hanlon, Mrs. Betty Lirnert, Mrs. M. Maley all of Thunder Bay.
