AUGUST 13, 1970 TERRACE BAY NEWS PAGE 15 SHOWER FOR BRIDE - ELECT Miss Patricia Dimmery of Thunder Bay was guest of honour at a bridal shower held at the home of Mrs. Wesley Clemens on August 7th. On their arrival, the hostesses, Mrs. Clemens and Miss Edith Clemens presented Pat and her mother Mrs. Mabel Dimmery with red rose corsages. The guests enjoyed several hilarious games and contests after which Pat was presented with a de- corated basket filled with gifts. Edith read the verses as the presents were opened and Mrs. Norma Fummerton fashioned a hat from the coloured ribbons from the gifts. A delicious lunch was served by Mrs. Clemens assisted by Mrs. Florence Fischer and Mrs. D. Connolly. Those attending were: Mrs. Inez McKevitt, Mrs. Rose Dimmery, Mrs. Irene Boland, Mrs. Etta Gray, Donna Dean Gray, Mrs. Lil Christie, Mrs. Florence Fischer, Mrs. Norma Fummerton, Mrs. D. Connolly, Mrs. 'Brenda Harper, Mrs. Gladys Hamilton, Mrs. Mabel Dimmery of Thunder Bay as well as Misses Pat and Brenda Dimmery of Thunder Bay, Anna Fummerton, Ann Noonan, Muriel Nesbitt and Sandra Clemens. The bride-elect, Miss Dimmery, lived and at- tended public and high school in Schreiber before moving with her family to Thunder Bay a few years ago. Claydon all of Thunder Bay have arrived to make arrangements to recover the body of Mrs. Hague's husband who was drowned while diving where the yacht Guinelda was sunk. Mr. and Mrs. V. Carr of Everly, lowa are holi- daying at their cottage ot Selim Bay, near Rossport. Mr. and Mrs. Burr Tarrant of Whitehall, Wisc., have arrived on their annual holiday and fishing trip. Professor Arthur Vierthaler and Mrs. Vierthaler of Madison, Wisc. were here several days with their sai | boat. Messers T.W. Martin and J.J. Jensen of New York motored here on the weekend. Mike Halley and Fred Brown of Nevada, lowa were here on a fishing trip. : Mr. and Mrs. Lorne Molinski and children holi- dayed at Thunder Bay with relatives. F.D. Lairbs, Mr. and Mrs. N. Dickson of Boston, Mass. motored here during the week. M.S. Bacherman, L.L. Wright and L.K. Ecskell of San Franciso, California were among our vaca- tion guests the past week.
