MANCHESTER Hospital Bill Is Repudiated MANCHESTER -- The meeting of Reach Towns! Council was held in the Township Hall here on Monday, July 6, at 7.30 p.m. with all members present. A communication was read from the Hospital for Sick Children, ask- ing that Reach Township pay the hospitalization of Victor Boxall to the amount of $387.25. This claim was repudiated as the child is not considered an indigent. Mrs. Eva Rapsey interviewed council regarding her proposed sub- division of Chalk Lake. Allan Jackson, assessor was instructed to interview the Depart- ment of Assessment and get the correct information on the new amendment to the assessment act regard the exemption of all woodland that is not used for gai- ng, which becomes legal in 1054. Mrs. Crosier presented Relief Account for June, amounting to $58.32, which was ordered paid. The road account for June was discussed and 'ordered paid. CROSIER RE-UNION * The 23nd re-union of the Crosier family was held on Saturday, July 4, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Vernon, Prospect. There was an attendance of ap- proximately one hundred and ten. A lovely afternoon was spent in visiting and ei pying the sports that were ably handled by Eddie Maynard Registration fees totalled $30. In the evening a bountious lunch was served under the leader- ship of Mrs. Frank Crosier. President Stanley brought greetings to all and the minutes of last reunion were read by secretary - treasurer Shirle; Anne Crosier. WA MEETING The Women's Association met at the home of Mrs. Clinton Midgley on Thursday afternoon, July 2, with an attendance of 11 members and three visitors. Vice-president Mrs. Don Christie presided for the meeting and the woraup, Jelicd was conducted by Mrs. Midgley, Mrs. H. Franklin and Mrs. Josh. Dobson. A thank-you note was read from Mrs. A. sor.
