The service opened with quiet music, and two verses of "Silent Night" sung by Mrs. J. Glover and Miss Muriel Werry (singers concealed), John Glover read "My Christmas Wish" and the school sapg "It Came.Upon the Midnight Clear." Mrs, Percy Mountjoy recited Luke 2:7-14 fol- lowed by "Away In a Manger", sung by the primary class. Billie Farn- dale recited "Little Light In Beth- lehem" and Bobby Farndale gave "Legend of the Christmas Rose," Gordon 'Townrow - gave a reading and Ronald Werry read "Make Way For Christmas," followed by Donald Down, "Its Christmas." "Spirit of Christmas," dialogued by Gladys Mountjoy, Joan Hepburn, Noreen Hepburn, Diane Lee; was followed by a pageant "The First Christ mas * and the Christmas Light Spreading Through the World" led by Mrs. E. Mountjoy and Mrs. H. Farndale, with 16 pupils' bearing banners showing the places to which the good news of Christmas spread: Bethlehem to Jerusalem, Antiock, Asia Minor, Greece, Rome, Spain, Germany, England, New England States, Canada, India, Chi- na, Japan, Trinidad, Korea and Africa. "Gifts for the King" was presented hy a group of girls. - Each class presented its collec- tion for missions. Following a hymn the pastor closed with prayer. Tuesday evening, Pereman's School was filled to the door for their excellent Christmas concert which was put on by the pupils un- der the able direction of their teach- er, Miss Edna Samells who presid- ed at the piano for the evening.
