At the same time; up in St. Catharines, while Rexie Stimers 'almost went into conniptions, the Tee Pees broke their deadlock with the Windsor: Spitfires, by chalking up a 6-4 victory over Windsor on St. Kitt's ice. 'A brilliant second period attack put the Tee Pees out in: "front after Spits had scored the only goal of the first stanza. Windsor took the lead im the third frame only to have St. Kitts roar right back to tie it up at 4-4 and then go on to score two more goals and cop the" verdict.- That. victory, not only put' Tee Pees back on top but it was Windsor's fourth defeat: and no doubt shook them up greatly. They'll give the Tee Pees a warm reception when they play right back in Windsor tonight. * * * "Louie Jankowski grabbed off two goals last night up in Galt as the Generals turned back the Rockets 4-1. Tonight, Galt comes right back -here to play at the Oshawa Arena and it will be a good cliance for the Generals ito climb a little higher in the standing. "The Generals came: up with an improved brand of offensive play' vast night, displayed more zip 'and direction in their attack than ." they have for some weeks. The result was a clean-cut win over the Galt team. 'Pendlfies were fairly numerous with the Oshawa defensemen drawing fheir full share. ' Sullivan had & couple in the ' first frame'and Chapman was thumbed twice in the final period. Gamble and Stephen were the other Oshawa goal-scorers in last night's contest. Tonight, Coach Tommy Anderson may try out a couple of 'changes, but at any rate, with Galt Rockets desperate for revenge and a couple more points, they'll likely give the Generals a " rugged battle here tomight and it should be an interesting and - livély game. Incidentally, there's no game here Saturday night, the" Generals going to Windsor, so tonight's game is the last local junior filt for 10 days. . ; ime h ap' bh SERS "Stew" McTavish, for years treasurer .of the Oshawa Hockey Club, has been named second vice-president. of the OHA and this. is a step towards the chairmanship. and. presidency. .
