000 Fare Share FOOD BANK OAKVILLE INC Dear Donor, On behalf of the Oakville Fare Share Food Bank, | wanted to thank you for your donation this past year. As you may well be aware, the need for food assistance has increased almost 100% over the past year. We currently have over 1400 families registered with the Food Bank and serve over 800 families in the Oakville area each month, many of whom are children. In 2023 we have seen an increase of 200 families already. Between Covid, fuel cost increases and subsequent food cost increases, the need grows more and more every week. Your monetary contribution is so important to us as we are able to purchase fresh fruits, vegetables, etc. to supplement the non-perishable food donations we receive every week. You may not know that the Oakville Fare Share Food Bank is completely run by volunteers. No one collects a paycheque, so you know your donation is going directly to the ones that need it. We are one of the only Food Banks in the GTA that is run solely by volunteers. So at this time, we wanted to say thank you for your generous donation and to let you know we are doing everything we can to help fight food insecurity in our area. Thankfully yours, tie Stephen Rowe, President, Fare Share Food Bank (Oakville) @ 905-847-3988 e © oakvillefoodbank@gmail.com | QO #6-1240 Speers Road, Oakville, ON, L6L 2X4 © oakvillefoodbank.com oakville_fare_share_food_bank £702 ‘Lb AeW ‘Aepsunyy | seneeg etayeg | 27 woo'uo}!eyepisut
