Wilson, Donna Jean (née Oliver) (Died)

Surrounded by love, Donna Jean (nee Oliver) Wilson, 71 years of age, left her physical form on Thursday, April 13 at home with her family.

Bonded in a lifelong, loving partnership with Donald Wilson of RR#6 Woodstock in their 54th year of marriage.

Mom of Derek Wilson and Leanne (Brandy) Deadman. Grandma to Teagan and Boyd Deadman; and Meghan, Gillian and Max Wilson. She was predeceased by her parents Roy Milton and Margaret Elizabeth (nee Wickens) Oliver, eldest sister Mary Moore and brother Kenny, and brothers-in-law Dick Wilson and Eric Wilson. Lovingly remembered by her youngest sister Nancy Wilder (Bob Buck), and; siblings-by-marriage: Dave (Marion) Wilson, Marjory (Greg) Wall, Joan Wilson, Carolyn (Gary) McIlravey and families.

In addition to sharing the chores with her husband Donnie on their dairy farm near Hickson, Donna served her community as a hairdresser; an active member of Christ Church Huntingford: ACW, Choir, Synod Rep, Sunday School and Youth Group; Treasurer for Oxford County Plowmen's Assoc. and a member of Tavistock Curling Club. Donna's passion was the husbandry of animals and her love of nature/gardening. Her hands were never idle, hours were spent creating in many mediums: sewing, knitting, crocheting, quilting, ceramics, pottery, stain glass, and furniture refinishing. Donna and Donnie enjoyed their semi-retirement by raising beef cattle and fresh eggs, travelling and having many great times with friends and family!

In keeping with Donna's wishes, cremation has taken place.

A private Funeral is taking place at Christ Church Huntingford. A Community Celebration of Donna's Life at Innerkip Community Centre, come as you are, bring your favourite Pot Luck Hor'derves - May 13, 1-6 p.m.
