8 to eat have Seven members answered roll call with their 'Y' Maureen read our May mee(cid:415)ng minutes with Milford Friendship Circle Mary Creasy welcomed the Friendship Circle ladies into her home on Thursday, June 4 at 1:30 p.m. President Margaret Crouse opened with this advice - "Let the words I speak today be so(cid:332) and tender for tomorrow, I may them." Mary's "Thought for the Day" raised a very per(cid:415)- nent point. A gentleman a(cid:425)ending church le(cid:332) his hat on. Several members objected to this and asked him to re- move it. In answer, the man replied, "I have a(cid:425)ended this church for several months and no one has spoken to me. Today, I have met several members for the first (cid:415)me including the minister." Something to think about would- n't you say? words. We learn lots of new things by doing this. one correc(cid:415)on being made. Treasurer Wilma brought us up-to-date on our finances. The ladies donated a (cid:415)dy sum to be given to the food bank. Card secretary Mary remembered several members of the community - special birthday, sympathy, get well. memory processes. (cid:415)ve side of life. A delicious lunch served by our hostess and a lovely social (cid:415)me finished off a very enjoyable a(cid:332)ernoon. Wilma thanked Mary on behalf of us all.
