David Letterman OPTICAL CANN-WOOD A Full Selection of Frames, Sunglasses and Contact Lenses Eye Exams Arranged Lab on Premises 266 Main Street, Picton 476-1655 **Gift Certificates Available** www.minakersautoparts.ca   Copy & Adver(cid:415)sing Deadline   for the June Edi(cid:415)on of   The Mirror is May 25th  Thank You...  Though it's a bit late in coming, I wanted to thank all  of  the  kind  and  though(cid:414)ul  people  who  helped  me  out  at  both  my  farm  and  shop  while  I  took  a  two- week holiday in February.  To Jamie Miller for keep- ing  the  parking  area  clear  of  snow  (all  winter)  and  also for his quick response - with  Dan and John - in  helping the fallen horse.  Thank  you  to  John  Lammes  for  checking  on  the farm animals and helping with watering and hay,  and at the shop for his a(cid:425)empt at doughnuts.  Thanks to Janelle - though new to the area -  for volunteering and covering some "open hours" at  the shop along with Ted who came in regularly to do  some volunteer shopkeeper hours.   Thank you to John Lammes, Sr. for unlocking  each  morning,  keeping  snow  shoveled  from  the  doorway, bringing in the newspapers and generally  overseeing  the  shop  for  many  hours  while  I  was  gone.    Thank you to Leon McConnell for his con(cid:415)nu- ing  help  with  everything  from  plumbing  to  assem- bling shelving and unlocking the shop doors at 7:00  a.m. each day.    Thank you to "Chuck" Ewan Calendar for his  many hours in poor weather taking care of the farm.    Thanks to Sandra Ingram for working her reg- ular hours as scheduled.  Thank  you,  too,  to  all  the  customers  that  kept Live Laugh Eat going through a long, slow sea- son!  Jen Ackerman
