Sat. 21 - About two or three inches snow. | went over to Picton from mr. Spafford’s Harry Shortt and Archie went over with me. Picton was more than crowded with people. Sun. 22 - Mirt and | were to Nait’s all night the wind blew a gale and drifted up the roads home. We walked from Naits down to Mr. Spafford’s and Mirt was pretty tired when she got down there. Mon. 23 - | was up home helped Pa kill the bull. And then went out to Sarah E. Rorke. Mirt Annie and Marsh were there. Also we had a good visit. Tue. 24 - Mirt and | came from Mr. Spafford’s up to Pa’s the weather was some softer. We went down to Rorkes again at night. Wed. 25 - Christmas. All were home to Pa’s to eat their Christmas dinner. It was a lovely day and the sleighing was fairly good. We all enjoyed our selves fine. And wonder if we will all be alive to spend an- other Christmas together. Then after dinner along towards night all but Annie Maud and Nelse went out to the Carman the church was filled and a good time was spent. Proceeds $3.00 Thur. 26 - Mirt and | went up to George Lewis Col- lier’s from the Carman last night stayed all night. They had a dinner the next day that is the 26. Jake and Lib Philip McCrimmon and Maud were there and so we had a good time. After dinner Mirt and | went down to John Dulmage to a party. Went down with a sleigh load. Archie and Hilton took the load. Fri. 27 - Well we came home we had a grand good time while we were down at the Bay. And was glad to get home again. Bobs was over to Mr. Collier’s. | went over and got him he was pretty hungry. Sat. 28 - This has been a lovely day wind has been South. Snow can’t last long if we don’t get colder weather. | have been helping Mr. Collier build a barn yard fence. Sun. 29 - Rained most of the day. Mirt and | were alone all day. Went over to Whit’s for tea. Mon. 30 - Helped Mr. Collier finish up the barn yard fence it was a lovely day. Tue. 31 - Mirt and | went out to Jake’s. Wind blew a gale and turned very cold. Sleighing is very good.
