The White Pines Wind Project Public Meeting The first public meeting concerning the White Pines Wind Project is scheduled to take place on Thursday, March 22nd from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Prince Edward County Collegiate Institute, 41 Barker Street in Picton. Everyone living within the project study area in the map (below) provided by wpd Canada will be affected by this project. If you are particularly af- fected - be it by proximity to a turbine (or turbines) or the projected interconnection line - this is your opportunity to ask questions and get some answers. Presumably representatives from wpd Can- ada and the wind industry’s favourite consultants, Stantec Consulting, will be present to answer them in an unbiased fashion. ‘LIBRARY NEWS By Christine Renaud | | The Milford branch has a special March Break children’s program coming up —although parents can come too!
