Sweetman Chosen President of Association Scugog, Dec. 15.--On Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 9, the Women's As- sociation entertained a number of friends at the home of Mr. and Mrs, W. Jeffery, Meeting was opened by singing and Mr. Joblin led in prayer. The secretary, Mrs. Job- lin, gave a very nice report of the work for the year, then the treas- urer, Mrs. H. Fralick, gave her year's report. They were both very encouraging as $419.90 has been made in the past year. Mrs R Hood, is local treasurer for the foot, gave her report and as Central local treasurer was absent throurh {ll ness, Mrs. Geo. Samells read Mrs. J. Milner's report. The president, Mrs. C. Frailck, resigned her office snd the officers were elected as fol- lows: President, Mrs. CGC, Sweetman; vice-president, Mrs. C. Hardy; sec- retary, Mrs. J. Joblin; treasurer, Mrs. H. Fralick; local treasurers, Mrs. J. Joblin, Mrs. R Hood: or ganists, Mrs. J. A. Sweetman, Mrs. Crozier; Parsonarse committee, Mrs, Joblin took charge.
