About eight o'clock everyone had arrived, While the corn was being cooked everyone joined in the games which were played and then athered around the large' bonfire, Cveryone had all the corn they wanted and then the marshmallows were passed and everyone did their own roasting. After this there was some singing and the girls presented Mr. Mark with a cigarette case as a token of their appreciation for coaching the ball team during the summer, About eleven o'clock the arty broke up, everyone having en- oyed a good time. The ladies ex- pressed great regret at losing Mrs, Barregar and wished her much hap- piness in her new home, It is with great regret that we learn, that since the presentation Mrs. Barrcgar was taken seriously ill with acute appendicitis, She un- derwent an operation in the Oshawa General Hospital on Sunday. .
