The Cmautauqua this year has been attracting full houses for every performance and no wonder because every act has been of a high class, Yesterday afternoon perform- ance was in two parts. The first was a popular concert, put on by the Jackson Jubilee singers. These peple sang themselves ht 'into the hearts of Bowmanville people. Their appearance was so interest- ing in the afternoon that they at- tracted the majority of the after- roon's audience back in the even- ing as well as a great number of the friends who had been told so much about them, The second part of the afternoon's performance was a lecture on '""Canadianization," by Captain Stanley Nelson Dancey. The evening performance ' was put on entirely by the Jackson Jubilee singers, who staged a splendid concert, The first part was a plantation scene, in costume, and singing the old plantation songs.
