HOME PRICES PLUNGE IN HALTON IN NOVEMBER TORSTAR OPEN DATA TEAM The average price for a home in Halton Region was $1.16 million in November 2022, according to the To- ronto Regional Real Estate Board. That's down 5.5 per cent or $66,874 from Octo- ber 2022 and down 14.8 per cent or $200,276 compared to November 2021. There were 431 hom« sales in Halton Region af. ter an average of 26 days on the market and 1,238 active listings at the end of No- vember. Sales were down 46 per cent and active list- ings were up 257.8 per cent compared to a year ago. Detached houses aver- aged $1.48 million, down 2.4 per cent or $36,986 month- over-month and down 16.4 per cent or $289,905 year- over-year. There were 209 detached house sales and after an average of 26 days on the market and 706 ac- tive listings at the end of the month. Semi-detached houses averaged $962,992, down 6.5 per cent or $67,187 month- over-month and down 15.5 per cent or $176,499 year- over-year. There were 22 semi-detached house sales after an average of 16 days on the market and 27 active listings at the end of the month. Attached houses aver- aged $993,973, down 1.7 per cent or $16,756 month-over- month and down 13.6 per cent or $156,205 year-over- ar. There were 67 at- tached house sales after an average of 18 days on the market and 113 active list- ings at the end of the mont!
