In his 86th year. Son of Sid

and Margaret Canfield, brother

of Irene, Lorna, Harold and

George, all deceased.

Husband of Louise (Powless)

for 62 years. Father of Brian

(deceased), Jeffrey (Jackie),

Bradley (Simone), Bob (Nancy)

and Susan (Tobin). Grandpa to

twelve precious grandchildren,

Danielle (Cody), Mitchell

(Ashley), Kiersten (Clayton),

Monique, Joshua (Stephanie),

Shayna, Emily (Travis), Lydia,

Jared, Tom, Kiona and Brianna

and great grandpa to Rielle,

Ronnie, Jaxon & Mia.

Al worked in the civil service

for 11 ½ years, first as a postal

clerk, then as a customs

officer in Oshawa. He then

spent 31 years in General

Motors, retiring in 1994.

He enjoyed gardening,

growing veggies for family and

friends, cottage life at Mayo

Lake, a round of golf with his

senior buddies and he is

known to have put up a

building or two.

Thanks to Dr. Lorne Stephens

& Dr. Ali for over 40 years of

excellent health care, and to

God Almighty who allowed

him more than three score and

ten.

FREE METHODIST CHURCH,

2301 Trulls Road, Courtice on

October 25th, 2021. Interment

Ebenezer Cemetery.
