Santa delights young and old on his visit to Port Perry... Christmas officially came to Port Perry November 27 with the arrival of Santa and his colourful parade. Thousands lined the street to see the jolly old elf make his return, much to the delight of young and old alike. Led into the centre of town by a long parade of bands, clowns and beautifully decorated floats, Santa’s arrival was certainly the highlight for the youngsters who waved and shouted his name from the sidelines. Now that the Christmas season is underway, Santa will be visiting his little ‘Christmas House’ located in front of the post office frequently throughout the month of December.
