20 - PORT PERRY STAR - Monday, December 23, 1991 "Scugog's Community Newspaper of Choice" Christmas spirit alive in Greenbank GREENBANK NEWS By Helen McKean As your reporter I want to wish everyone a Merry Christ- mas and a Healthy New Year!! My best wishes to everyone at the Port Perry Star. Thank you Mr. Hvidsten for the book "Exploring Port Perry - Our History." This I will share with my friends. Too, thanks to the Greenbank Cub report- ers who call me with their news each week. One more thanks I want to give too, two of Santa's help- ers. I just learned their names today. You see, someone has been picking up our newspa- per every morning since Don was in hospital bringing it in trom the road and placing it in the sun-porch. Only today we solved the mystery. Shawn Fletcher and his sister Anne have been doing this good deed. I really want to thank them both. They have been do- ing their own good deed for Christmas. Thank you Anne and Shawn. Again a "Merry Christmas" to everyone, especially to those readers who do not live here but have moved away and still read their Port Perry Star every week, like Armour and Rachel McMillan, Iva and Don Till and Don and Lorna Fergusson. Best Wishes To All BAR NCI RAN SEMEN, AT THE OSHAWA You'll find the best buys in town. right here at Oshawa Centre. So, don't waste a moment!
