Ward 2 councillor Marilyn Pearce has been appointed to chair the Parks an Recreation Committee, with Ward 1 coun- cillor Ken Carruthers and Ward 3 councillor Ken Gadsden sitting on the committee as well. Area councillor Harvey Gra- ham will serve as chairman on the Roads and Sidewalks Com- mittee, along with councillors Pearce and Gadsden. Regional councillor Yvonne Christie will chair the Finance Committee consisting of newly elected councillors David Diet- . lein Ward 4 and councillor Ken Carruthers, Ward 1. Councillors Gadsden and ~ Carruthers will serve as repre- sentatives on the Museum Board, councillors Graham and Carruthers will serve on the Agricultural Board, and mayor Howard Hall, along with coun- cillors Gadsden and Graham will serve on the Fire Board. The wedding took place November 16, 1991 at the Greenbank United Church. The bride wore the same gown worn by her mother forty years ago at the marriage of her parents Gord & Mid Pereman. Maids of Honour were the bride's daughters - Stacey and Kristyn Smith. Best men were the grooms' long-time friends, Laurie McCulloch and Norm Richards. The wedding party was driven to the reception at the Blackstock Recreation Centre in a 1951 Chevrolet unexpectedly provided by Laurie and Elspeth McCulloch.
