Missing from the photo is Sarah Breen. (See story for details.) Pupils rewarded The S.A. Cawker Public School Advisory Committee's main fundraiser of the year went off with a bang. A total of $19,655 worth of "Sunsweet' wrapping paper products and stationary was sold for a profit of $8,406. Individual top seller was Co- ral Sharkey with $353 worth of sales earning herself the grand prize of a mountain bike. The top selling family - Jon- athon, Matthew and Sarah Breen sold an unbelievable $574 worth of product and earned themselves a ghetto blaster. To give all students a chance at winning a prize, for each consecutive $20 worth of sales a child made, their name went into a draw. Melanie Hawkins, Sabrina Brown won the ghetto blaster, and kinder- garten student Sarah Nippard won the stereo system. Classrooms which won pizza and pop parties were Mrs. Fer- guson, total of $1,623 sales; Mrs. Chase, average partici- pating student sale $111; and Mr. Murray, highest student participation with 79 per cent. A good time was had by all at the "Wrap Up" assembly on Dec. 5. An enormous thank you from the School Advisory Committee goes to each and every person involved in mak- ing this event an overwhelm- ing success.
