Paul and Shirley Baster, her parents Jim and Clara Jones travelled to Warkworth to celebrate Clara's brother Milt's 65th birthday on Sunday. On February 19, at 1:30, the Seniors will meet in the Auditorium of Uxbridge Town Hall. All Seniors welcome. Members will hear from their 'phoners. There will be a good programme organized by Sadie Johnson. Our guest speaker will be Frank Van Veghel. Some time ago the Presbyterian Church in Uxbridge decided to do some work in Guiana. This project led to building a kitchen and making playground equipment for a small village school in Guiana so Frank Van Veghel and two others went to Guiana to get the project under- way and ready so when the group of workers went there they could begin work immediately. Frank took pictures which he will show after our pancake supper this Fri- day night. Whatever the case, the Port Perry Star has already been re- ceiving calls from people who have spotted spring's (or win- ter's) first robins. Liisa Ryan called the Star of- fice last week to report that she saw not one, not two, but six robing while out walking her dog along the Scugog-Manvers "Townline.
