Port managed to control the ring until the final seconds when Barrie suddenly came up the ring and began a powerful rush towards Tracy Pelow and the Port Perry goal. An amazing burst of speed by Shannon Fox and a determined effort by Kim Poppleton, effec- tively squashed Barrie's final at- tempt at a goal. It was very frustrating for team members and fans alike to play well for a period and a half, only to have the wheels fall off against our old rivals. On Sunday "the Doors" return- ed to Lindsay to play what turn- ed out to be the final game in their playoff series. With Lindsay leading 2 games the zip, they on- ly needed this one to complete their sweep.
