The show entitled "Open Wa- ter" was held this year at the John B. Aird Gallery in Toron- to. The Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour is dedi- cated to the promotion of water based media. Helen McKenna's painting entitled "Storm Warning" was selected for purchase by the Corporate Sponsor of the Show, Anthes Universal Limited. The painting shows two figures walking along a hilltop, a dark expanse of water behind and storm clouds above. Since September, she has been working on a series of paintings at the old Talbot Es- tate overlooking Lake Erie.
