Although Port Perry was out- shot by goals, Miranda Burgess as a white stick scored her first goal at 2:17 in the first period. Less than 2 minutes later, Jen- nifer Donnelly scored Port Perry's second and final goal. Alicia Burgess was kept very busy with all of Ajax's shots. Leanne Davison, Leanne Layzell and Nicole Virtue showed great improvement in checking and stick handling. The effort of our defense players, Leanne Holt, Katherine Cooke and Alaina Davis were good and busy also. The girls are getting the hang of the game more and more every game. Keep up the hard work.
