28 -- PORT PERRY STAR -- Tuesday, November 13, 1990 Wetliame ~- Locke A r Saturday, August 25, 1990 was a beautiful sunny, summer day when Heather Locke, daughter of Joe and Carol Locke of Blackstock and Faul Williams, son of Peter and Edna Williams of Oshawa were united in marriage. The bride and her matron of honour, Dawn Gaylord, sister of the bride; and her bridesmaids, Heather Fisher, friend of the bride; Janice Wiliams, sister of the groom; and Ronda Peters, cousin of the bride; and flowergirl Jessica Peters, god-daughter of the bride, all arrived at St. Paul's United Church in Bowmanville in an elegant, white stretch limousine. The groom stood at the alter wearing a handsome black onyx tuxedo with tails. The notch lapel jacket and matching pleated pant were accompanied with a black satin cumberbund and bow tie. The best man and master of ceremonies, Spencer Williams, brother of the groom; and ushers, David Flood, friend of the groom; Michael Farrell, friend of the groom; and Arlen Gaylord, brother-in- law of the bride, all wore black tuxedos with tails offset by dark teal cumberbunds and bow ties. Bridesmaids wore dresses of dark teal featuring slim tea length skirts with peplums, Queen Anne necklines and keyhole backs. The flower girl wore a delicate dress of white lace accented with pink satin ribbons. The bride entered the church wearing a traditional gown of white satin. Poarls and sequins etched the wedding band collar and decolletage neckline. The fitted bodice of re-embroidered Alecon lace released to a full satin skirt and cathedral train edged in scallopec' lace. Following a lovely ceremony officiated by Reverend N.E. Schamerhorn, the bride and groom, wedding party and friends and family joumeyed to the Orono Forestry for picture taking. The reception and dance were held at Tyrone Community Centre. Highlights included catching of the bouquet by Delaine Trotymowych, friend of the bride and groom; and the catching of the garter by Blair Locke, brother of the bride. The couple spent a wonderful week honeymooning on the sunny beaches of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and now reside in Manilla. \.
