Millar Lights bring magic of Dickens 'A Christmas Carol to Town Hall stage The musical version of Charles Dickens" beloved novel "A Christmas Carol" will come to life on the stage at Town Hall 1873 in Port Perry for four per- formances in mid-December. This musical is being pre- sented by the Millar Lights, a childrens theatre group that has delighted audiences with "Standing Room Only," "A Child's Christmas in Wales," and the full length musical "An- nie." With the festive season just around the corner, the Millar Lights are proud to present "A Christmas Carol," with musical direction by the group's found- ers Tom and Catherine Millar, and stage direction by Lynn Relf. With its universal message of peace on earth and goodwill to all, "A Christmas Carol" is a delight for all ages at this spe- cial time of the year. The Millar Lights has a cast of 82 young people and there are 29 musical numbers in this production. It's the heartwarming sto- ry of Scrooge, "an odious man" who spreads misery every- where he goes.
