Certainly not with 983 suggestions, but we must all start, particularly with the possibility of a landfill site in our backyard. Instead of 983 ways, I'd like to challenge you all with the idea of adopting ONE en- vironmental suggestion per week. Make that ONE a new habit in your homes for this week and be ready to add on to your new en: vironmental habits each week! If the suggestion is already a habit in your home, good for you! Now would you consider talking about it to your neighbours and friends? We can only accomplish the goal of Less Garbage by working together. \ Habit #1 - to establish help for the environment - Purchase Pop in returnable Glass Bottles. This item has been contributed by a group of environment - con- homemakers of Blackstock. They will contribute a habit each week. Let's work + together for improvement. oy Werry and Ian Rudkin were Sunday evening dinner guests of Elizabeth and Peter Peeters and Courtney of Omemee.
