To All Our Talented Residents in the area .... We Need Your Help!!! Our Greenbank Community School is requesting parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and friends to demonstrate a skill or talent to the students. This could be something that you do - from singing to story telling; from fur- niture building to folk art pain- ting. Your demonstration would take place during a Friday mor- ning assembly for approximately 20 minutes. This would be of great interest as well as a learning ex- perience for our children. Please call 985-3703 or 985-3420 to volunteer for this worthwhile experience. Hope everyone enjoyed the Thanksgiving weekend. You cer- tainly can see lots of pumpkins and funny looking people stuffed with straw, some even with no heads, around the area. I'm sure there were many 'Tom Turkey's" being cooked this weekend to be shared with fami- ly and friends. We don't know about other areas, but it was rather sad to see pumpkins broken up all over the road in Robinglade Estates this weekend. It is in the spirit of the season to leave pumpkins out on your porch, etc., assuming they will still be there in the morning. Hopefully, this was only a one time situation. Congratulations to Jason Lewis, son of Diane and Trevor Run- cieman of Robinglade Estates, who recently graduated from R.C.C. School of Electronics Technology. Jason has accepted a position as an Electronics Technician with Haliburton Geophysical Services Inc. Thir Company is based in Calgary. Jason doesn't know yet where his first assignment will be. It could be anywhere on the North American continent, or could be a posting on gas or oil exploration ships off the coast of Australia. Well, Jason if you receive that posting on the ships off the coast of Australia, I think most of your neighbours in Robinglade would just love to come and visit you. | hear that Australia is Just a great place to be (and we're not just talking about that guy in the beer commercials with a funny accent either). Good luck to you Jason from your family, friends and neighbours, wherever your jouneys take you. Welcome home to Leon and Betty Williams who recently returned home from England and Scotland. Hope you had a super holiday. A reminder of the Fellowship Sister Dinner which will be held on November 23rd at Greystone.
