Seagrave United Church News Lawrence Nicholls gave a report from church on Sunday on the 33rd General Council which was held in London Ontario in August. He was the lay represen- tativefrom Lindsay Presbytery. The new moderator is Rev. Walter Farquharson who suc- ceeds the Rt. Rev. Sang Chul Lee. The Seagrave Anniversary Ser- vice will be Sunday Sept. 23rd at 11:00 a.m.. The guest speaker is Rev. Jack Griffen of Columbus United Church. Special music will be provided by Ivan Barrett on Piano, his daughter Linda Jacula on the organ and his grandson Michael Jacula on the keyboard. Seagrave Ladies are asked to bring lunch for the social hour following the service. Plans are in the making for the annual Turkey supper for Wednesday, Nov. 7th. The U.C.W is asking for donations towards the bazaar being held the same night.
