Children enjoyed Christmas in August at Vacation Bible school in Epsom "The hardest lesson we have to learn in life (if ever we do learn it) is simply to leave other people alone, to stop bugging them and trying to change them. The only person in this life you can ever change - and it is hard work at that - is yourself. R.J. Needham (Columnist for Globe and Mail." Come to church at Epsom next Sunday at 11 a.m.. Then go to Cameron Lake to the Tapscott cottage. Provide for a pot luck supper after games and swimm- ing, which is organized by the Utica-Epsom Social Club. Everyone welcome. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Watson and their family and Grandma Predmore planned a barbecue picnic supper at Cameron Lake but the weatherman did not co- operate, so all enjoyed supper with Betty, Norm, John and Anne Tapscott at Epsom. Uncooperative weather again failed to stop the Youth Group from enjoying their outing to Pleasure Valley. There were four planes at Utica so the group were taken to Peterborough and had a wonderful day. In future days I see them telling their children of the wonderful outings they had with Gail and Arnold as leaders. Thanks a bunch. We have new babies to welcome toour area. A little girl arrived at the home of Karen John Buckley while a little boy was welcomed at the home of Jane and Garry Cosgrove. Both families live on the Reach Road.
