Region appoints Lawyer The council of the Regional Municipality of Durham is pleas- ed to advise that they appointed Brian J. Roy to the position of Regional Solicitor. Mr. Roy has been employed as Assistant Regional Solicitor with the Region since December, 1985. Mr. Roy obtained his B.A. degree from the University of Toronto and the LL.B degree from Queen's University. He was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1978. Mr. Roy practised with legal firms in both Ontario and Alber- ta, and joined the Region from the Federal Department of Justice in Toronto.
