Most Scugog Township resi- dents know that the liquor store is at the corner of Perry and Mary streets, but for many of the people who pass throug this fair municipality, finding what they're looking for can be time consuming and frustrat- ing. Not any more, though. The snack bar at the water- front baseball diamonds is now serving up a new menu. The specialty of the summer? Local information and attractions. The Tourist Information Centre officially opened Thurs- day and already a steady stream of visitors are dropping in to request information, in- cluding one man who came dur- ing the official ribbon cutting to inquire about the location of the local liquor store. Visitors now have a location where they can find all of Scu- gog Township's points of inter- est, including the Scugog Shores Museum, Port P rye specialty shops or one of t. township's beach areas.
