(rime Stoppers looking for a Crime Stoppers and Durham Regional Police are asking for the Public's help in solving an Arm- ed Robbery which occurred in East Oshawa on April 20. At about 4:50 P.M. an employee of the Loblaws Store on King Street East at the Town Line was picking up cash from the cashiers. As she was standing at one of the checkouts, an Armed Man ran into the store from the east door. He was carrying a handgun in his right hand and had it pointed towards the ceiling. He went up to the employee and attempted to take the cash bag from her shoulder. He then pointed the gun at her head and said "I've got a gun, I'll use it! As he took the bag the female employee activated a portable alarm which she was carrying. The bandit then turned to a cashier and told her he wanted a cash bag which she had. He took this and then ran out of the store towards the same east door. He ran north along the Town Line towards the ravine. The robber is described as: A white male, 25-30 yrs., sandy brown hair just over his ears. He was wearing a dark baseball cap & It. brown waist length jacket. The gun was described as a handgun with a 5'-6" barrel and had brown hand grips.
