The Greenbank Gambler bats have not caught fire so far this season and the result is the team is losing some of the close games this year that they could have won with a timely hit or two. The Greenbank team have always had a tough lineup for op- posing pitchers and they will start to find their batting eye any day now. But early in the young fastball season the batting is below the team capabilities. Last Monday night in Green- bank Park the Gamblers picked up 7 hits enroute to a 5-3 win over the Oshawa Juniors. Don Beaton and Rod Real had two hits each with Terry Till, Trevor Till and Bian Till each collecting a safe it.
