Council agreed to the re- quest Monday afternoon after receiving two letters from BIA president Tom Mitchell. One of the letters outlined the purpose of the May 31 meet- ing, and extended an invitation to councillors to attend. The other outlined the background of the formation of the Port Perry BIA, and ended with a strong plea for council to Clean up first Highway 7A, but because of an error in planning, insufficient land was left between two lots for the walkway.
