Cornish School news This past week was certainly been a very busy one at R.H. Cor- nish. The staff and students had this week set aside to do their part in saving our planet. The week started off with classes pitching in to give our school yard a face lift. All day long no matter where you looked there was someone with a gar- bage bag in hand picking up garbage. Earth Day and Save the En- vironment posters were popping up everywhere in the halls. Tues- day was green day where everyone was asked to wear something green. Sunflower seeds, courtesy of White Rose, were planted by each individual student and when old enough will be taken home as food for the birds. Many lessons were taught on how important it is for us to do our part in saving this planet.
