Easter monaay visitors with Lawrence & Gwen Malcolm, Nestleton, were his sister Jean Millet & husband Jim of Rich- mond, B.C. On Tuesday evening the Ex- ecutive of the Gerrow Family Reunion met at the home of the president, Gwen Malcolm to plan for the June 3 picnic in Nestleton Community Centre. Recent visitors with the L. Malcolms were Ted & Lenore Hoar of Lindsay, and Howard & Eileen Malcolm of Yelverton. David & Joanna Malcolm have just returned from a most en- joyable vacation in Portugal. Neta Fish & son Calvin Holland, Blackstock, visited with Jim & Audrey Leishman and family of Reaboro, on Saturday. Later, Audrey & Neta shopped in Peterborough. Keith & Rhonda Bannister, Nicole & Crystal of Peterborough, were Sunday afternoon guests with Neta. Lorne & Irene McKee, Nestleton, were guests with Sam & Mabel Cawker, this past week and a fine visit was enjoyed. So glad to see Irene doing well walk- ing, and getting about, as per usual. Alan & Eleanor Cawker, Oshawa, dropped in Sunday even- ing at the Cawker farm for a chin- wag his parents, Sam & Mabel. Many '"'laughs' were en- joyed while tea & coffee and a light lunch were partaken of. The Churches At the Nestleton Presbyterian Church Rev. Wm. Fred Swann will preach at Nestleton at 11 a.m. Blue Ray Chapter Presiding And Associates Night Blue Ray Chapter opened in regular form with W.M. Jane Galbraith in the East; assisted by W.P. Alastair Newsome. Chapter was led in Prayer by Acting Chaplain Marguerite Mitchell. The Canadian Flag was presented at the Altar; O'Canada was sung; and the Flag escorted to the East by Marshal Richard Windsor. Visitors from Oshawa, Bowmanville, Whitby, Markham, Scarborough, Pickering, Sunderland, Lindsay and one visitor Joan West from Wawa, were given a warm welcome by W.M. Jane and W.P. Alastair. The Benevolent Committee was busy with Easter Cheer. Elsie Wilbur and Isobell Wilson visited the Nursing Home & The Villa and distributed Easter Eggs to the residents, which were much enjoyed. Convener Bonnie Wind- sor presented a good report re - the catering. During the evening draws were held for the Worthy Matron's special project for Celebration of the Stars Year, which is Diabetes. Winners were: Bill Guthrie & Jessie Burley of Whitby Chapter won the Easter Rabbits and the floral arrange- ment, and Jean McDermott won the box of chocolates. May 10, will be Blue Ray Chapter's 42nd birthday party. Members are hoping for a good attendance for this "special" night. A birthday draw will take place with many lovely prizes to be won! After closing, lunch conveners Fred Alton, Richard Windsor and Peter Myles, excelled with a lunch of Chili Con Carne, Erench Bread, topped off with tempting squares, tea & coffee, these men sure can cook! As members & visitors departed for home, after the warm fellowship, Matron Jane gave everyone a lovely Easter treat which she had made, especially for the evening! On April 29, 11 a.m. the Com- munity Church in Caesarea met with a more than average con- gregation. Service condueted by Rev. Dr. Crawford with Dana Gibbons reading the Lesson. The visiting speaker 'Rev. Tim God- frey, minister of the Emmanuel Full Gospel Fellowship brought the message, with theme - "The Importance of Obedience' from John 9: 7-11 re - the blind man. A splendid message! concluding with the hymn 'Trust and Obey." Kathy Watts was the organist. Sunshine Club meets Tuesday from 4-5 p.m. Kathy Tromans was the cordial greeter at the door at Nestleton United Church with a good atten- dance for a lovely Sunday. The trio sang, with Gwen at the organ. Rev. D. Davis' message was thoughtful and of interest to all.
