In fact, she'll probably be singing "M-I-C-K-E-Y M-0-U- S-E" all the way to the airport. Mrs. Anderson, a Marlin Travel employee, won a trip for two to Disneyland at a recent conference held at the Skyline Triumph Hotel in Toronto. The conference, entitled The College of Disney Knowledge, focused on informing travel agents about Disneyworld in orida and Disneyland in Cali- fornia. "I was really excited," Mrs. Anderson said about winning the grand prize. But that excitement soon turned to feelings of guilt, she confessed. Mrs. Anderson and her husband will not be able to take their three pre-teened children with them. Still, she admits that it's "kind of nice to go some place. I'm always sending other peo- pleon trips." She worked as a travel agent in Toronto for 12 years before her family moved to Scugog Township a year ago. Six months after the move she started working for Marlin Travel. Although the second place prize of a trip for two to Disney- world is almost equally entic- ing, Mrs. Anderson is glad she won the trip to the California playground. She's visited Flori- da's version three times al- ready. Mrs. Anderson and her hus- band plan to cash in their win- ningsin October. Please see story Obituary: Ruth Mary Till On Thursday, March 15, 1990, Ruth Mary Till died after a short illness in Port Perry Memorial Hospital. She was in her 79th year. Ruth and her husband farmed together for several years in the Greenbank area. She was a faithful and enthusiastic sup- porter of her church, first the Greenbank Presbyterian Church and after 1925, the United Church. She was also predeceased by three sisters, Jean Johnson, Olive Brown and Eleanor Collis, and brothers-in-law Leroy Till and John Mayne. Ruth is survived by her brother Robert Michie and wife Evelyn, her sisters-in-law Audrey Mayne and family, Viona Smith and hus- band Murray and family, Norrine Cook and husband John, Iva Till and family, her brother-in-law Robert Brown and family, son Glen and wife Mary Jean, daughter Mary and husband Ross Real. She is also survived by her grandchildren Janice and Brian Lee, Terry and Julie Till, Brian and Trevor Till, Dawn and David Chambers, Kim and Kevin Knight, Rod Real, and by her eight great-grandchildren. Complete funeral service was held March 17, 1990 at 2 p.m. at the Wagg-McDermott-Panabaker Funeral Home, Port Perry by Rev. David Shepherd. Honorary pallbearers were Terry, Brian & Trevor Till, Rod Real, Brian Lee, David Chambers and Kevin Knight. Spring interment will be at Greenbank United Cemetery.
