Lewis Motors wins championship Fo J Gibson scores hattrick - "The Atom House League wrap- ped up on Saturday with an ex- citing final game.that was much closer than 'the score would in- dicate. The two teams fighting for the championship were Gord Lewis Motors and Tripp Realty. :Both. teams played a tight checking game until with just under three minutes left in the se- cond period, Lewis exploded with four goals: Jeremy Gibson was the architect fo this onslaught as he scored a natural hat trick with the first three goals. -- Gavin Baxter added the fourth ; goal with 5 seconds left in the period. With the game firmly in hand Lewis concentrated on their defensive play in the third period, but were still able to score once more as Jeremy picked up his 4th goal of the day to make the final score 5-0. Lobster Fest 90 The Port Perry Star would like to clarify a statement made in an article in the March 27 is- sue of the paper concerning the Lobster Fest 90 fund-raising dinner-dance for Minor Hockey. The article stated the lob- sters would be "flown fresh from the East Coast." In fact, they are pre- cooked, then flash-frozen prior toshipping. Sorry for any mis- understanding that may have resulted from our mis- understanding. But no matter how the lob- sters arrive at the Scugog Are- na May 26, theyll be mighty tasty, and there are lots of tick- ets available at $25 each for this worthy fund-raising effort by Port Perry Minor Hockey.
