Larocque scored the first on a good wrist shot from Scott Swain, while Justin Wootton earned the assist. With four seconds left in the first, Big V's Craig Coates rifl- ed one past the goaltender as Greg Thompson picked up the assist. In the second, Larocque went OUR THANKS ... ahead for the second time, Justin Wootton from Steven Gilbert. There was plenty of excitement for all who watched and midway through the third Big V's Jason Brain scored to tie the game, John Hall and Chad Mitchell assisting. March 23 Consumers Gas 4 Big V3 Big V opened the scoring on a goal by John Hall assisted by Chad Mitchell and Clay Scott. Consumers Gas tied the game late in the first as Neil Hancock scored from Eric Lucyk. In the second Consumers went ahead on a goal by Eric Lucyk unassisted. Big V tied the game a minute to go in the second on a nice shot by Clay Scott, assisted by Greg Thompson and Derek Anderson. In the third period, Matt Mantel scored from Eric Lucyk to put Consumers ahead for the second time. Consumers' Scot Prechitko scored from Steve Cochrane to put them ahead by two.
