Port Perry family opens Pizza Delight family restaurant Port Perry's newest "family restaurant" opens its doors to- day, in the building formerly known as the Dairy Bar located on Water Street. Pizza Delight, is a franchise operation owned by Port Perry residents Don and Judy Mitch- ell. The Mitchell's have been residents of the area for the past 12 years. While the name might imply that the Pizza Delight is just another pizza store, this is far from the truth. Pizza is just one of the many items on the res- taurant's menu, which ranges from salads and pasta, to ribs and chicken. Mr. Mitchell told the Star he began looking for a business to get into in Port Perry after spending the past 25 yeas in fi- nancial management, working in the Markham area. He soon realized that a fami- ly-style restaurant was needed and after looking at.a number of franchises, chose Pizza De- light as the one he wanted to pursue. The completely renovated store, which is tastefully deco- rated in shades of Teal green, will seat 74 people and is fully licensed, including a patio li- cense at the front overlooking Lake Scugog for sixteen. Inside, patrons will find com- fort on padded chairs and enjoy the atmosphere created by dropped lighting over each ta- ble, partitioned areas with lots of warm wood topped with etched andstained glass. In addition to the restaurant, Pizza Delight will continue to offer take-out service, and al- most anything on their menu will be available for the take- out customer. They will also continue the old Diary Bar cus- 1 HOUR Photo Processing FREE 2nd SET of PRINTS Upon presentation of this advertisement RJM Quality Prints 60 WATER ST..
