The second annual Colle- giate Sports-Marlin Travel Slam-Dunk Contest is a project of the Sports Administration students of Durham College, and will take place at the Col- leges' Athletic Complex on JAprilll,at5p.m. Collegiate Sports will be pro- viding the tickets to the Bulls game which may be used for any game in the 1990-91 sea- son, and Marlin Travel will pick up the air-fare costs. Last year's slam dunk con- test attracted 600 spectators and featured 12 competitors, the organizers are aiming at 750 spectators, and 17 competi- tors for this yearsevent. Nike will also be a co-sponsor of this years event supplyin two pair of shoes for second an third prizes, along with Nike t- shirts for all competitors and door prizes. All proceed from the event will go to the Durham College Sports Administration Schol- arship Fund.
