Carr stated that the percent- age in most communities in fa- vor of the system is 60%. The system is not a must for everyone. Not every household must have cable for the system to be put in place. Those who do not wish the cable do not re- ceive it. The price does not fluc- tuate according to the amount of subscribers in one communi- ty. Mr. Carr said he is looking forward to workingin this area. "It is a very popular item, and we have had tremendous sup- port from other communities," he said. "I donot see a problem with obtaining a license for this area. The CRTC likes smaller communities to have a chance to receive cable, that otherwise would no have the opportuni- ty," he said.
