This was the third game this season that our Eaglettes have played against the very determin- ed Ajax team and, for the second time, have soared to victory, as the final score of this game was 10-3. Despite the 7 goal margin it was not an easy game for our girls, as at the end of the first period the score was 3-2 in favour of the Eaglettes. The goals during the first half were scored by Jennifer Elliot, Pam Hiltz (assisted by Bonni-Jo Norton) and Jennifer Donnelly who persisted long and hard for that goal. We knew you could do it! Jennifer Hammond, our goalie for this game, was able to take things a little easier during the se- cond half. Brooke Shanley and Diane Vanderligt put all of their defensive skills into action, while down at the other end of the ice Jenny Lane and Mandy Wakeford tirelessly skated, passed, dug for and shot the ring on the Ajax goal. Melissa Hooker eagerly chalk- ed up two more assists to her credit and Jennifer Elliot zig- zagged her way to a hat-trick.
