The purpose of this member- ship drive campaign is to gather support from Scugog ratepayers against the unjustified increases in local municipal, regional and school board taxes. As a group (of which all new participants are welcome), it is our goal to make our local levels of government aware of the dis- satisfaction of taxpayers with the excessive and unnecessary spending of our tax dollars. A simplified appeal procedure has been compiled by one of the C.A.U.T. committee members to aid any ratepayers who are con- fused by the assessment appeal " forms sent out by the regional government.
