Epsom Public School students dressed in historical costumes for a lesson on traditional Christmases. Nancy Sutherland from the Pickering Museum Village was the guest speaker. School wins first prize for Santa Claus parade float Many local people attended Durham West 4-H Achievement night at Greenbank recently. The Bethesda and Epsom Clubs par- ticipated in the evening programme. It seems that everyone attend- ed the Santa Claus parades in Ux- bridge and Port Perry last Satur- day. Epsom School won first prize with their "Alice in Wonderland" float for the school . category. Congratulations. Our sympathy to the McTavish family in the loss of Mr. Duncan McTavish who passed away last week. Our congratulations to the Ux- bridge Health Care Centre on their most successful Xmas . Bazaar and lunch last Saturday.
