Two perfor- mances will be held each night at 7:30 and 8:45. The Living Nativity was last produced in 1983 and drew huge crowds to the town centre where the Inn and stable of Bethlehem - formed the backdrop to an ex- citing and very colourful depic- tion of the first Christmas. Old and 'young alike enjoyed the pageantry of the Roman Soldiers on horseback, the live animals, the colourful costumes and the high quality sound reproduction of majestic Christmas music and narration, This Christmas, the story of the simple birth of Christ will once again come alive in Uxbridge. A cast of close to 100 will live out the events leading up to the moment when the Lord Jesus was born:in the stable and then follow the travels of the shepherds and the wisemen as they came to pay homage to the newborn King. In the past, the entire communi- ty of Uxbridge has taken the pro- duction to heart and local council and businesses have endorsed the Living Nativity.
