Hallowe'en Day we were busy making up lots of candy apples especially made for the kids. The residents were very happy to have some visitors from Mrs. Watson's class (R.H.C.) who pro- udly displayed their creative Hallowe'en costumes. The first day of November started off with manicures. Thursday November 2, we spent - every available. minute throughout the day working on painting silk scarfs and making the matching earrings. A popular Bingo game was featured on Friday. Another exciting week began with bowling. Ted Whitter achiev- ed the high scorer position with 95 points. Congratulations. On the 7th there were several ladies baking up many batches of loaves that will be sold at our up- coming bazaar. Others enjoyed spending the afternoon at a sing- song. At supper hour we had the Supper Club gather together for a featured meal of spaggetti and meatballs from Trader Sams. We ended another week with a baking session for the ladies and men's darts for the men. Birthday wishes are extended to Mrs. Mabel Burgess (26) and Mr. John Doupe (27). . Staff members celebrating up- coming birthdays are Regina Malinowski and Eleanor Powell. Best wishes to them.
