Hvidsten (from page 6) Took a trip to the "world famous" Skydome last Wednes- day evening with a friend to enjoy a few freebies, courtesy of "Windows of SkyDome" restaurant. They had a great spread for members of the Club, which was their way of saying thanks to those who have taken out membership in their exclusive Clubs of SkyDome. The buffet was set up with shishkabobs, giant hot dogs, barbequed ribs, chicken wings, salads, pickles and dozens of reat looking deserts. Another area we'll call the "nibbling line" had mounds of popcorn, peanuts and pretzels. And to wash it all down, there was free beer (Labatt's of course) and wine. All this and the price was right.. free! Hope you didn't miss the eclipse of the moon Wednesday night. It was acting watching the moon slowly disappear be- hind the shadow of the earth. We were driving north along the Don Valley Parking Lot when the eclipse started, and my driving buddy almost side- swiped a craning his neck to catch a glimpse of the moon as it began to disappear. Once we got to the 401, and were travelling eastbound, it wasn't nearly as dangerous taking an occasional glance sky- ward, for one of the rarest sights we get to see in a lifetime, | The next eclipse isn't for ten years, | am told, so It was great to have had the opportunity to witness this rare phenominon.
