A delight to see them all! Nestleton United Church The Sunday morning, Aug. 13 at 11:15 a.m., greeters at the door were Victor and Kathy Tromans and son Drew. A number of visitors were warmly welcomed. Rev. Dale Davis was in charge of the service and read lessons from Hebrew and Luke. The children's theme was of interest, emphasizing "faith and trust." The sermon presented by the minister was entitled, 'Worry Warts" it brings to mind fretting - fearing - undue concern over things we have no control over, ete. Next Sunday, Aug. 20, 2:30 p.m., the Nestleton Cemetery Decoration Day Service will be held. Guest speaker Rev. Victor Parsons. Special music will be "The Country Four" from Solina." Try and attend this "special" day! In the evening, August 20 at 7 p.m., an Ecumenical Community Hymn Sing will be of interest for the Cartwright Churches to be held at the Blackstock Fair Grandstand. Caesarea Community Church On a lovely Sunday morning at 11 a.m. on Aug 13th, an average congregation at the Caesarea Church. The worship service was conducted by the minister, with responsive reading by Frank Arney, and Scripture lesson read by Geo. Kleinjan. Rev. Dr. W. H. Crawford spoke on 'Is It Ever Too Late To Pray?" based on John 11:21. A fine discourse! Kathleen Watt played for the hymns. The Children's Vacational Bible School will be held at the Caesarea Hall on Monday-Friday this week. Time: 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.. This is of great interest to the children of the community! She also visited with her sister in Penetanguishene for a few days and on her way home stopped in for a visit with her son Tim and wife Julia in Barrie. Pat & Mary Coyle and family spent a week with the Akeds before returning home to Scotland. The week was spent sight-seeing.
